How much does the cost per litre of unleaded petrol vary in different regions?
Are there any significant differences in the price per litre of unleaded petrol in different regions or areas of the UK?
Personal experience would say there is, as I know we can fill up our family car on the return trip from the parents house (in a different county) and save several pence per litre every time. The feedback we are getting from Whatprice users allows us to look in more detail at these variations.
Below is the current UK average cost per litre for petrol and also how the Whatprice calculated average price has changed over the few years we have been gathering the data.
To go back further in history one could use the monthly reports the AA produces on petrol / diesel / LPG costs

Best wishes, "
