Car prices for breakdown insurance
There are different levels of car breakdown insurance and it varies with insurer. The following are specific to the AA. As the level of cover increases so does the cost. The most basic is that if you breakdown more than a minimum distance from your registered residence someone will come and try and repair your car. If that is not possible then you will be taken to the nearest garage or another destination if that is no further than the garage would be. The second option is that if your car cannot be fixed at the roadside and a garage is not available they then will take you, your car and your passengers home or to any destination. The next level is that if your car wont start at your registered residence then they will still come and have a look at it and try to fix it. The final option is that you can breakdown anywhere, they will try and fix your car, if not possible you will receive either complimentary car hire, overnight accommodation or expenses to cover travel costs to any reasonable destination you were intending to go to.
