Dentist prices for root canal
Root canal treatment is required when the blood or nerve supply of a tooth becomes infected either by dental decay or by damage to the tooth. If the root of the tooth becomes infected in this way then it should be treated to avoid the loss of the tooth or the spread of the infection. In root canal treatment the tooth will be drilled until the root or pulp chamber is accessible. It will then be cleaned out across its entire depth and then filled with a special material to protect it (gutta percha). The tooth will then finally be fully repaired using a filling or dental crown.
