making a pond is easy right? It's just a big hole filled with water. Well yes, but it can be much more. Will it have a patio walk way around it? What about electric for any pumps or lighting schemes? Will it leak. I've seen a pond dug, liner placed, filled and then be almost empty the next day due a leaky liner. It's also a BIG hole, a cubic metre of earth weighs several tonnes so think about the labour you or someone else will have to do.
