| I replaced a Vokera boiler that was not holding its pressure & we didn't have hot water. A plumber tried to fix it but couldn't. SSE (Hydro Electric)quoted £2600 for supply install a Worcester 24i boiler,drain & flush the existing pipework. Supply a magnaclean filter & wired thermostat which I didn't have. Scottish gas were £2900. I went with SSE who then sub contractd it out. When the Vokera was removed it was found to have burnt out the flue & the combustion gases were coming back in & blowing the flame out.
