About the Plastering Cost Calculator
The term "wet plastered" used here means to apply plaster directly to brick or block work for example apply one coat of bonding plaster and one finishing coat 13mm thick to brickwork. We have used the term "wet" to distinguish it from plaster board which can be known as dry-lining followed by skimming.
The costs calculated assume the following:
- the work is carried out by an experienced contractor
- the work is carried out in an empty room
- VAT is not included
- access is good
- doors and windows are assumed to be 2m2 each
It should be remembered that the plastering costs displayed are indicative only and quotations should be obtained from reputable plasterers - Disclaimer.
