How much to build a garden wall in brick or block?
These are example prices you could expect to pay a bricklayer to build a wall for you, not usually as part of a larger project. For example it could be a garden wall (or any other wall for that matter) in brick or blockwork.
Bricklaying is a sought after skilled trade and in high demand, which pushes prices up. For larger projects such as an extension or house build a fast an efficient brickie will probably charge per 1000 bricks or metre squared, a day rate can be quoted as well but ensure you’re getting value for money, you should expect to get an estimate of how long it will take.
For a typical garden wall a good tradesmen will usually quote a fixed price, it’s only once you’re looking at larger house extensions and builds that a piecework price would be more likely.
